Day 1 Istanbul – Thessaloniki
On the first day of our tour, departing at 21:00 from Kadıköy Marriage Office Parking Lot, 21:30 from Mecediyeköy İstikbal Front, and 22:00 from Bakırköy Ömür Shopping Center Front, we will follow the Silivri – Keşan highway with onboard refreshments to reach the İpsala border crossing. After passport and customs procedures, we will travel via the Dedeağaç - Gümülcine - İskeçe highway to Thessaloniki.
Day 2 Thessaloniki
Upon arrival in Thessaloniki in the morning, we will take a panoramic city tour; the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Exhibition Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, Aya Dimitros Cathedral (the largest cathedral in Greece), Alexander the Great Statue, Hamza Bey Mosque, E.Venezelo - P.Konstantin statues, Vardar, Makedonia, Aristoteles, Elefterios squares are among the places to be visited. At the end of the tour, we will visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk and check into our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. Guests who wish can join the extra Greek taverna program organized by our guide, enjoying delicious meals, Greek music, and unlimited fun with Bouzouki.(65 EUR)
Day 3 Thessaloniki – Kalambaka – Athens
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Thessaloniki towards Athens. There is an option to join the extra Kalambaka (Meteora) tour organized by our guide along the route.(55 EUR) We are heading to Kalambaka, known as the Cappadocia of Greece and the Monastery Region, where monasteries continue to function today, built 200 meters above ground by monks carving into rocks years ago. Here, we witness the lives of the monks inside the monasteries they carved into the rocks and tour the monasteries in detail. After free time given in the Kalambaka city center, the journey to Athens continues. Upon arrival in Athens, we check into the hotel. Overnight at our Athens hotel. We join the New Year celebrations held in the city square for the New Year festivities.(Return transfer is at the guests' own expense.)
Day 4 Athens
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take an Athens city tour. In this tour, the Agora, Temple of Zeus, Parliament Building, Syntagma - Omonia Squares, Presidential Mansion, Prime Minister's Residence, Historical Olympic Stadium, National Gallery, War Museum, Panepistimiou boulevards, National Library, and Academy University are among the places to be seen panoramically. After our panoramic tour, we visit the Acropolis, one of the most famous historical sites in world history (50 Euro will be paid to our guide for entrance and local guide fees). After the Acropolis tour, guests who wish can join our extra Corinth Canal tour organized by our guide.(40 EUR) In this tour, we will cross one of the world's most famous canals, the Corinth Canal, go to the point where the canal meets the sea, and watch ships pass through. After our tour, we will transfer to the hotel.
Day 5 Athens-Kavala-Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we will complete checkout procedures and meet at the vehicle. We will arrive in Kavala after an approximately 8-hour journey via the Lamia, Trikala route and take a panoramic city tour. The Water Arches, Port, Castle, 19th-century Neo-Classical buildings, Pangia, Old and New City, Acropolis, Lighthouse, Ag.Nicholas, Teodoro Kimissi churches, Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Paşa soup kitchen, and its statue will be seen. After the meeting, we will pass through the Western Thrace region cities of İskeçe & Gümülcine & Dedeağaç panoramically and head to the İpsala border crossing. Guests who wish can join the Porto Lagos tour organized additionally by our guide.(10 EUR / Our tour can be carried out if the entire group participates.) After passport and customs procedures, we will follow the Keşan – Tekirdağ – Silivri highway to Istanbul. After a free köfte break in Tekirdağ, we will arrive at the starting points in Istanbul in the evening hours, concluding the program.

Need to Know
- All participating guests must possess a valid Schengen visa for the entire duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from the visa requirement.)
-- For our New Year tours, guests who wish to add the Gala Dinner must pay the Gala Dinner fee at the time of tour registration.
- To enable shopping and expenses in all countries included in the program during the tour, carrying Euros is sufficient. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred throughout the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum stay of 3 days is required to bring goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
- Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of spirits (excluding spirits with more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne); Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of spirits (excluding spirits with less than 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne); Perfume: 600 ml; Makeup or skin care products: 5 items; Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg; Coffee: 1 kg; Tea: 1 kg
- During the tour, guides may modify the itinerary within the scope of the program to show all specified locations, depending on weather and road conditions.
- Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour date. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if less than 20 days remain, a 100% penalty applies. Hospital reports, work permission letters, and other documents obtained from Turkish authorities submitted along with a participant's cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services booked outside Turkey.
- Our tour programs are organized subject to a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel.
- In cases where the tour program specifies only category information without naming specific hotels and/or offers options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by Viyatravel 2 days prior to the tour departure.
- During periods such as trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified kilometers. In such cases, information will be provided by Viyatravel at least 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability. In these rooms, the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding or coach-style beds, participants booking triple rooms for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have accepted potential crowding in the room and the type of bed.
- Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited, typically as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee. These may be served in a separate hall assigned exclusively for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are max 2–3 hour tours conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary for general city introduction. They do not include entrance fees to museums or historical sites. Viyatravel is not responsible if such panoramic tours cannot be carried out because they coincide with other tours that local authorities prohibit visiting or entering, or due to closed roads caused by any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot at points where vehicle access is restricted, within available means.
- Waiting times at customs checkpoints crossed by road during travel may exceed standard durations; Viyatravel cannot be held liable for any negative consequences arising from such waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by local Viyatravel partners subject to a minimum participation of 20 people. If this number is not reached, the excursions may not take place. Additionally, prices, content, and vehicles used for extra tours may vary depending on the number of participants. Furthermore, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up again from the same location after the main tour is completed.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for passengers joining flight-inclusive tours are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest at the airport counters of the relevant airline or online via the airline's website prior to the flight.
- Viyatravel is not responsible if passengers fail to board their flights due to not being present at the designated airport at the reported time, failing to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or completing them on time but not boarding the aircraft. All costs incurred for round-trip new flight tickets and transfers in the destination area for passengers missing their flight are borne by themselves.
- Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol. There may be risks of delays on scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to the existing tour and flight. Viyatravel is obligated to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the tour accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0–2 years are exempt from paying airfare and seat service charges.
- Vehicle types used in our tours are classified according to the number of passengers as follows. The specific vehicle type for each tour is determined based on the number of participants:
